We offer a refreshing and healthy alternative to PET bottles and soft drinks to free our planet from plastic waste step by step.

With dropz, you are making a double commitment to our environment: Firstly, you avoid the consumption of bottled drinks and thus reduce your daily PET consumption. Secondly, with every purchase you support our partnerships and actively engage in the collection and recycling of PET bottles.

Meet our partners

Buy food with plastic

Together, we have already collected over 25,000 plastic products around the town of Elmina and raised awareness of sustainable recycling management. This increases recycling in the region and prevents further pollution.

GoReclaim

Dropz and GoReclaim both want to prevent plastic from ending up in the oceans. Together with the local collection point rePATRN, over 1 million bottles, known as "ocean bound" plastic, have so far been collected on behalf of dropz and integrated into the recycling process.

The impact of dropz

Albert, the BFWP recycling specialist, can collect significantly more plastic with the dropz Tricycle.

In Elmina, Ghana, the dropz Tricycle collected around 12,000 PET bottles and 13,000 plastic bags in 2023.

Children swap collected plastic for food. BFWP + dropz support around 200 people and households every month.

The Buy Food with Plastic team manages to raise awareness of the issues of waste and recycling in and around Elmina, as many people are unaware of the problem.

Jeffrey is the founder of GoReclaim and wants to prevent plastic from ending up in the oceans.

GoReclaim works with the local collection point rePATRN, which collects ocean-bound plastic on the Atlantic coast of Accra.

Low value creation in the country goes hand in hand with low appreciation. GoReclaim wants to change that.

More than 500 billion new plastic bottles are produced every year.

Currently, only 10% of plastic waste is incinerated to generate energy. If plastic is not incinerated, it will not degrade.

There are currently 8 million tons of plastic in our oceans. Without countermeasures, this weight will exceed that of fish by 2050.
